DR® invented the gas-powered "trimmer on wheels" and now, over 35 years later, we are proud to introduce the first ever battery—powered model–bringing you all the power of gas with the convenience of clean, quiet, battery power. The PULSE 62V will mow for up to 40 minutes on a charge (the equivalent of a tank of gas) and, with an extra fully–charged battery on hand, you can double that and work for up to an hour and 20 minutes. Best of all—no gas, no fumes, no fuss!
Our lightest model (just 45 lbs including the battery), the PULSE 62V is ideal for trimming and mowing in tight quarters where maneuverability is most important. For short bursts, the PULSE has all the muscle you need to take down thick grass and weeds as well. However, for sustained mowing in heavy growth, we recommend choosing one of our gas-powered models.
The PULSE uses a customized version of our Quick–Lock Trimmer Head which offers the easiest to use and fastest cord changing system available.

Works well. Does everything as advertised. Wished I would have gotten the self propelled model.
Best Cordless Trimmer
I live in the country with a lot of trees and uneven ground. When I have used various weed eaters in the post they are not powerful enough to handle my lawn and weeds or they are too heavy and hurt my back. This trimmer goes through everything I have tried. Plus since it is on wheels I don't have to support its weight. I get the charger and 2 batteries so there is very little down time.
Great light duty field mower
Love it so far. I use it to chew through the field around the house for a defensible perimeter. The first run was the toughest, but using it for routine mowing is great. The large wheels make it easy to move over uneven terrain. The light weight makes it easy to maneuver

Does ok trimming. Needs to accept heavier line. Battery is extremely hard to remove. Took two of us to remove it with great difficulty. Takes away the advantage of not having to deal with pull cords. Would not recommend.

Q.Does the unit ship with 1 battery & charger? and if I wanted 2 batteries I would just need to order the unit + a 2nd battery? Is there a discount for multiple additional batteries? Do you plan to make a 10AH battery for 1+ hour run time (we have large yard/lot off trimming area)? Do you have a veteran discount?
A.Thank you for your question. The battery and charger are a separate purchase. We often have sales for our items. There is not currently one available for multiple battery purchases or other targeted discounts. We do not offer a 10ah battery currently.

Q.What is the difference in performance between a Dura Blade and a sawtooth cord?
A.Thank you for reaching out to us. The Dura Blades were designed to slice through 3/8” thick woody material, brambles and tough weeds. The Saw Tooth Cord had been designed for tough weeds like cattails and burdocks. It has aggressive, serrated edges.
