This is just the right size.
Better cord than standard 155-mil default cord, but not the best available
The 175-mil cord from DR is more aggressive but not longer lasting than their default 155-mil cord. When the string hits tougher more wooded saplings or vines, it will break quicker than their smaller line breaks at the string holder. However, on more typical weed and grass material, it is superior. I have best results with the professional brand of red-colored trimmer lines used by commercial grounds crews 155-mil.

Q.Will this cord work with the Bladeless Mowing Attachment for DR Field & Brush Mowers (SKU: 14852)?
A.Thank you for your question. This cord is not designed to be used in the Bladeless Mowing Attachment. It is designed to be used in the DR Trimmer. The cord that can be used for the Bladeless Mowing Attachment is item # 14849 Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.

A.Unfortunately we have not tested to see if the cord spools for this product will work with other manufacturers machines so I do not have a definite yes or no answer to this question. I would advise using the cord that is recommended by the manufacturer of the machine you are acquiring it for.
