Only drilled 3 holes so far. Works great.
12 inch auger
Bought this product September 2020 along with the 9 inch auger. The 9 inch was delivered strait away. The 12 inch arrived June 2021 due to COVID. While waiting looked at alternate 12 inch augers in stock from other manufactures. The others were not built as well as the DR's. Am using the 12 inch now and very happy. Was worth the wait (painful as it was).
Q.Please, is this cord offered in pre-cut 13 inch lengths? If not, could/would it be offered in this way?
A.Hello, the Sawtooth cutting cord is currently only available as an 82' roll.

Q.will this fit even the older DR Trimmers as I got mine when you first started making them.
A.Hello Kathy, The Sawtooth trimmer cord is designed to be used in our Quick-Lock Trimmer head. It will not fit in the standard head. The Quick-Lock Trimmer head can be fitted to most trimmers. Q.Will 225 mil cord fit anything other than the quick connect? Your not real clear on it.
A.Thank you for your question regarding the 225 mil Sawtooth cutting cord. The cutting cord will only work in our Quick-Lock cutting head. The Quick-Lock head comes standard on the DR 3 point Hitch Trimmer as well as the 7.25 All Terrain Tow Behind trimmer. The Quick-Lock cutting head will fit on almost all of our other Trimmers and is available as an accessory. Please feel free to contact us to verify the compatibility.

Q.Does the cord last better if soaked in water for a few hours prior to use?
A.Hello, To extend the life of your cutting cord, we recommend storing your cord out of the sun. UV can damage your cord causing premature wear. Keeping your cord hydrated will also help. You can soak your cord in water for at least 3 days before using.
