A Great Value with High-End Features
The PRO-24B is our “entry level” DR Snow Blower, but it’s loaded with features that you won’t find on similarly priced competitors. Start with plug-in electric starting to get you up and running on the coldest morning, then add: heated hand grips, EZ-Turn™ steering for hassle-free 180º turns, an LED headlamp to light your way in the dark, and an integrated control panel that puts all operations within easy reach.
With a 24" clearing width and an 8-speed transmission (6 forward speeds and 2 reverse), the PRO-24B is ideally suited for properties with small-to-medium sized clearing needs. The DR OHV engine has plenty of power (6 HP, 212cc) to get through the heaviest snowfalls, and durable tires that provide reliable traction on icy surfaces.
Plug-in Electric Start
Using a standard 3-prong extension cord, plug in, push a button, and you're up and running! There is no battery that requires charging or maintenance. Recoil backup, with compression-release, makes for easy pull starts when you're away from a power source.
DR OHV Engine
This cold-weather engine (6HP, 212cc) is designed especially for extreme conditions and has the muscle to power through deep or wet snow.
EZ-Turn™ Steering
When you initiate a turn, the two axle shafts are free to drive independently and go wherever you guide the machine. The result is the ability to make tight, 180° turns, without wrestling the machine.
Integrated Control Panel
Controls for all functions are right at your fingertips: gear shift, auger and drive hand levers (once transmission is engaged, the auger control locks in so you can operate with right hand only), chute rotation/deflection, heated handwarmers, and LED headlight.
Snow Tires
14” x 5” pneumatic tires provide positive traction, even in icy conditions.
Headlight
LED headlight illuminates your path for early morning or night time operation.
Friction Disc Transmission
Simple but effective drive system transfers power to the drive wheels via a rubberized friction disc. Easy to maintain and access.
2-Stage for Efficient Snow Removal
The serrated auger breaks up ice and compacted snow. Our heavy-duty steel impeller (12” in diameter and constructed of 10-gauge steel) is backed by a LIFETIME warranty and draws the loosened material up and out the chute. This 2-stage system creates a high-speed wind channel that throws snow up to 40 feet away!

Just took delivery of the 24” Pro snowblower. Replacing a 25 yr old Yard Machine. We have had about 180” of snow so far this season. Of course we haven’t had enough snow fall that has warranted snowblower use since taking delivery. What I can say is that snowblower appears to exceptional quality. Engine started on second pull.

I just bought this blower! It came with some assembly required. These assembly instructions are not good! The important cables are not labeled. The manual is garbage! It’s 2024, put a video on how to assemble it online! This is so frustrating! I hope it throws snow better than this!

Tough little blower
I bought this blower a couple of years ago. All I have done is just change belts, oil spark plugs and a friction disc. We get serious snow here in the UP and this little blower launches snow way over 50 feet. 12-14 inch snowfalls are not a problem. Great value. Oh, and easy to maneuver, too.

Q.Is this engine Made In USA or Imported? It does not say Briggs & Stratton, Kohler etc.
A.The DR OHV is manufactured for us overseas to our specifications. It is specifically designed for cold weather use. The air intake is designed to keep moisture out, the cover is designed to keep the block warm. Internal parts are designed to run under colder temps (startup). Q.What are the speed options?
A.Thank you for your interest in the DR Snow Blower. There are six 6 forward gears and two 2 reverse options. The speeds break down as follows: 1st gear-1.3mph 2nd gear-1.7mph 3rd gear-2mph 4th gear- 2.15mph 5th gear- 2.17mph 6th gear- 2.2mph Reverse 1 R1- 0.5mph Reverse 2 R2-1mph With this variety of speed options, you will be prepared many weather conditions and will be able to match the operator's preference.
