Pretty good over all but I have used better.
I would give this a thumbs up but I have had some issues with this machine that I simply did not have with the last tiller I had. This review would be considered a long term review. I have had this for about 4 or 5 years. First thing I ran into is the belts on this only lasted for just a couple of years. New belts I installed seem pretty good. Just last year the forward drive cable broke. Just replaced that. The other thing I don't like is the pitch and roll this has when you are using it. One of the reasons I bought this was to have something that is easier to use. The last tiller was a front tine non drive. Even though this tiller has a drive system it really does not make the job that much easier. It pitches and rolls like crazy. The drive does help but control sill isn't that great. One of the strong points on this machine is the starting. It is an easy starter. Very dependable and it runs very well. Over all this is a pretty good unit but is average in some areas.
Good Tiller - Terrible Tires
This is the third planting season that I have had to replace at least one of the tires. The design is such that if the tire pressure drops at all, the seal on the tires breaks and when the axel turns it rotates the wheel while the tire is held in contact in the ground and it shears off the inflation valve. If they made a solid tire (non-pneumatic /solid rubber) I would buy it.
Works great
Great tiller! Was very easy to put it together, starts very easy. It works easy enough even my wife used it. Very good product.
The roto tiller worked well.
I had a tire blow from the stem and had to replace the tube.
Great tiller
Fired up first pull and has done so each of the 3 uses so far. Tilled new planting beds and worked well. Took 3 passes to get where I wanted, but that’s expected with this size tiller. Overall it exceeded my expectations and I would recommend this product. We’ll see how it holds up over time and further use. No concerns in that regard -

Q.What is the difference between the CRT and DLRT tillers. I’ve read the descriptions and did the “compare”, but can see what the difference between the two is.
A.Thank you for reaching out to us. The difference is in the tine rotation capabilities. The CRT has tines that rotate against the wheel direction for aggressive tilling. The DRT has the ability for you to choose either forward- or counter-rotation.
