48" PRO Model with Powered Remote Control

Our PRO models offer the convenience of cabled remote control that lets you adjust your grading depth from your tow vehicle while you drive.

12 carbide-tipped grading teeth loosen hard-packed dirt and gravel to remove bumps and washboard, and fill in potholes. The rear leveling blade then spreads the loosened material evenly.

FEATURES
FEATURES

Powered Remote Control

A rechargeable battery, a powerful electric motor, and a precise remote control raise or lower the scarifying teeth from your towing vehicle with the touch of a button.

Tungsten Carbide Scarifying Teeth

The scarifying teeth are 10x harder than steel. This is the same material used on mining equipment to chew through solid rock.

Powered Actuator

This powerful actuator provides a 4" stroke, raising the teeth from 4.5" above the surface (for travel and turning around) to 9/16" below the surface. It's housed in a steel box that shields it from the elements and kicked-up debris.

Tow-behind DR leaf vacuum converts to a utility cart

Rechargeable Battery

Can be easily removed without tools for bringing indoors during the off-season. It can be recharged either on or off the grader (charger is included).

Easy Hitch

    Almost Perfect

I'm lovin the grader for dressing the gravel around my property. My one suggestion would be to add some kind of elevation indicator to the unit. I'm thinking of attaching a rod to the rear wheel pivot arms to give me some kind of visual of how high/low that the grader is digging. Anyone else have an idea for that?

    Too difficult to assemble.

    Motor gear is terrible

Grader did great for the first 11 months or so. All of a sudden no more up and down. Pulled motor and electric cylinder out to find plastic gear was stripped. I pull a 200 yard driveway about ones a month with a riding mower so no hard stress goes into this grader box. Very disappointing 😞. Don't no if it failed because of assembly or the plastic gear is just not strong enough. But for 1200 bucks it should have been better.

    Life saver

No more renting a bobcat for our driveway at $500 a day. Our purchase of this Power Grader did all we needed for our driveway. Easily change your angles, depths etc.. very easy to use.

    Dirt driveway

I don’t know how it works with gravel, but on my dirt driveway it works fine. I used my Bad Boy ZTR and it worked well but the remote was tricky because I need 2 hands to drive the mower. It will work better with my garden tractor for that reason. The assembly was a bit tricky because I had no help. 2 people would have an easier time. Be sure to route the cables according to the instructions. DR makes quality products. I have a brush mower also that is almost 20 years old.

PRODUCT Q&A
PRODUCT Q&A

Q.Does this have a way to level the gravel after the times are used to loosen the gravel? That is a small blade that raises and lowers for leveling purposes.

A.Thank you for your question. This machine would smooth out the gravel after it was loosened. If you wanted the ground to be precisely leveled, you would need some additional tools.

Q.I have a 9 acre avocado orchard. During the last rains we had, the orchard rows ended up with quite a few ruts. Will this implement easily repair 4-6" ruts using an ATV?

A.Thank you for your question. Yes, the Power Grader can smooth ruts that are 4-6 inches. It may take a few passes.

Q.Will it do #5 gravel (large gravel)

A.Thank you for your question. We do not have rock size standards but the Power Grader can handle gravel and aggregate materials. The main issue is the degree to which your road is compacted. If it is too compact it will take more passes to break it up or it could bend the scarifying teeth. You may want to give our Sales Team a call to discuss your project.
