Our Mulch Discharger works in conjunction with our Lawn Vacuum Hose. You simply connect the hose to the outlet port on the lawn vacuum. This allows you to unload collected material into places where you can't simply dump the load. You can vacuum material out of the collector and deposit it into a waiting compost bin or truck, into the woods, or down a hill.
In addition, it is great for composting because the material comes back through the impeller, shredding collected material a second time.
17-foot (8” diameter) hose extends your reach.
Note: This item fits all DR Tow-Behind Leaf & Vacuums manufactured after July 2022, excluding the Pilot 200 model.

Like having the ability to spread the mulched yard waste among our trees in the greenbelt by the highway without the need to use a shovel or pitchfork. Blowing the mulch in between the trees keeps the weeds & grass from growing and puts nutrients under the trees’ drip lines. Not to mention it makes the yard look clean and tidy.
Q.Is this material 8"diameter (matches the existing)& can it be used to replace the line from my deck to the lawn vac? My existing hose is duct taped together but is still working.
A.Thank you for reaching out to us. The hose is 6" in diameter. So, it would not be compatible to use between the machine and mower.
