Easy to install and remove, the Standard Deck Adapter attaches to your lawn tractor's discharge chute, converting it to just the right size for the hose of your Leaf and Lawn Vacuum.
The Standard Deck Adapter fits lawn tractor decks where the discharge opening is less than 6" high and 19" wide and does not extend past the mower's spindle housing. Please view the image below to identify whether your lawn tractor requires the Angled Deck Adapter or the Standard Deck Adapter.

The product looks well made and was well packaged for delivery. To bad I made an error when ordering the wrong adapter.

This product works extremely well for the loading that it experiences. The only issue I have is the way the 8" hose connects to the Deck Adapter. I could not get it to stay on, so had to come up with a workaround. I came up with a system that works fantastic for holding the hose to the Deck Adapter. Using two sets of nylon webbing straps at 180 degrees from one another, trap the grommeted, or looped, webbing straps with the hose clamp on the hose and with either another hose clamp, or heavy duty zip tie, on the Deck Adapter. Then run heavy duty zip ties between the two sets of nylon webbing straps to pull the hose and Deck Adapter together. See attached photo.

You will have to attempt several times to fit this adapter to your deck in order to minimize the air gaps, but with a small jig saw and magic marker I was done after about 6 iterations. I was even able to use the tractors hinge assembly with the provided hardware, so exchanging to the original flap is easy!

Q.Which adapter is require for a 52” fabricated deck on a Ferris zero turn mower?
A.Thank you for reaching out. If your mower deck has a flap please lift up the flap to look at the pin. If the pin runs parallel to the machine you will need a standard deck adapter. If the pin turns at an angle to the machine you will need the angled deck adapter. Your deck discharge would need to be within 6" high and 19" wide for either deck adapter to fit.

Q.Do you typically need to drill holes into the mower deck to install the hardware to the deck?
