I obught these to trim small branches from bushes. i used them for one day and the cuts were clean. The mechanism that allows the handle to reopen after making a cut broke on the second day while cutting a 1/4 inch dogwood branch. The good thing was the company gave me a refund.

Was disappointed as it did not cut clean on smaller branches but it cuts medium branches well.

I basically like the pruner. We had one before, however the other one's ratchet broke after several years of usage.

Ratcheted hand pruner ,,,,, not what we hoped for
The pruner works okay for larger stems but using it for every day pruning is not so good. The ratchet function makes it difficult to use for simple jobs.

A.The powerful Ratchet action allows the blades to cut up to 1" thick. The blades are made of Teflon coated high Carbon Steel. Country of Origin is Taiwan.

A.I'm sorry we do not offer replacement parts for this item. The blade is made from high carbon steel and could be sharpened if needed.
