Power Steering is Easy on You!
Our disc brake system provides Power Steering. Each wheel is equipped with its own brake, operated by a hand lever. Just squeeze the brake on one side, and the mower will pivot easily around that wheel. You're in control...without wrestling the machine!
20 HP Briggs Twin-Cylinder Professional Series Engine
The legendary power, performance and durability of Briggs & Stratton® engines make them the obvious choice for our Walk-Behind Field and Brush Mowers. The PRO MAX34 20 HP model features a Briggs Professional Series OHV twin-cylinder engine, with full-pressure oil pump (great for positive lubrication even on side slopes), a spin-off oil filter, 650 cc of displacement, (two) cast-iron cylinder sleeves, plus easy, turn-key electric-starting.

34" Super-Wide Pivoting Deck
The 34" deck on the PRO MAX our widest cut walk-behind brush cutter. And unlike the rigid, fixed decks found on some mowers, the DR deck pivots from side to side, allowing it to follow the contours of rough terrain. This feature minimizes scalping and improves traction.
Side Discharge
The PRO MAX is equipped with right side discharge to efficiently clear out the large amount of material that accumulates under the extra wide mowing deck.
Gear-Driven Transmission: Lock it in and Rip it up!
Unlike hydrostatic drives, the DR's geared transmission lets you lock in your ground speed, leaving your hands free to steer the machine across uneven terrain (instead of fussing with touchy throttle controls as you go). With 3 forward gears, you can choose a fixed pace that's right for you.
Big, Lugged Tires for Sure Traction
No other brush mower has tires like this. They're the biggest (18" x 6.5" x 8"), they have superior lugged treads that pull the mower through or over just about anything, and they are sealant filled...which means they're highly resistant to puncture. Tough as nails, apparently!
Custom-Made Blade Spindle
Made of 1.375" thick cast iron with oversized double sealed bearings, the blade spindle is integrated into the deck housing and reinforced for vibration-free performance. Designed to provide years of maintenance-free use (and abuse!).
Commercial Grade Electric Clutch
Our industry-leading, self-adjusting clutch is designed for easy access and quick swapping out of optional attachments. After 245 hours of testing we only used up 10% of the life of the clutch. There are no cables to stretch or idler pulleys to get out of adjustment.
Attachments Add 4-Season Versatility
Thanks to our quick-change coupling system, the DR's brush mowing deck can be swapped—in just minutes—with one of our optional PTO attachments: a 42" finish mower, a 30" snow thrower, a wood chipper, or a 42" grader blade. It's like owning 5 machines in one!

Amazing machine!
Great shipping time, great delivery truck, secured well on the pallet, and super easy to put together. Easy to load on to my trailer and is a great work horse. Cleared 2 acres of small trees, 3 ft tall grass, 20 ft thick sections of briar patches. Even had people stop at our property to ask how we did the work without a tractor and where we got that machine. I felt like a salesman talking about my cool DR Power machine. There is a few things that can be improved; the brake steering is worthless unless you have massive hands to reach the break levers, the speed control is a real slow walk or extremely fast walk and the handles are permanently set high so I guess you can easily push down to eat bigger items. My guess is this is designed for a 6’ man weighing 225 to muscle through some of the turns. My work did just buy the commercial model of this machine and it appears to be set up for a better variety of users, more adjustments and variable speed walk and steering brakes you can reach. Overall I would buy it again and recommend it to anyone who asks. I want more Dr Power products.,

beast mode brushcutter
20 hp 34 inch with brush cutter that destroys small trees and brush. I read on a review to get the heavy duty blade and I highly recommend that pay the extra money. Other than that I've already cut And cleared 2 acres of land. this brush cutter is heavy, but I love that it's 34 inches wide so it cuts more brush. It makes work when it comes to heavy stuff.

Issues from the Start
After the First Use, the Mower would Not start anymore. I used it for about 45 Min. Had to stop to Do something else Stopped it as suggested. And Then it wouldn't start back up had a full tank of Gas the Battery was charged so here I am going on a Hunt to figure out why this Maschine won't start. Come to find out it's the Fuse so I Bought a New set and put it in still didn't start. Now I'm thinking we'll maybe it's the selonoid. After messing with it and playing arround with it I find out if I Push together Both sides of the Fuse Box so it actually connect the Maschine starts Right up. Sad to say I spend almost 4 k for a Maschine with Flaws. And a Poor design Going to have to cut out that Fuse System and replace it with a regular modern Fuse box that's also water prove. And get Rid of this 1850 style Fuse of Glas that nobody ever uses anymore. Other then that I hope this Maschine will not cause me any other Problems....
Q.i have soft and bumpy dirt and inclines and is hilly and my current walk begind cub cadet 760 33 inch mower loses traction and slips because it does not have two wheel all-wheel-drive. Does this DR brush cutter have power to both wheels all the time? I also do not see wheel weights, which should always be available on a big mower. There are situations where you just have to have wheel weights, and I am not talking about stupid chains!
A.Thank you for your question. The machine has power to both wheels unless the break is pushed to maneuver the machine. We never suggest that this be used on inclines over 20 degrees. It sounds like your area is not very safe. This machine is very heavy and could potentially also slide like the machine you already mentioned.

Q.Does the power steering need a fluid?
A.Thank you for your question. This uses a disc break system. So, there's not fluid involved with the steering.
