The big shredder hopper accepts all your yard and garden waste, weeds, leaves, prunings, sticks, pine cones and more, and reduces it all to a fraction of its original volume. The byproduct can be added to your compost or tilled into your garden in the fall.
Lightweight and Portable
Easy-to-grasp handlebar (even with gloves on) for smooth maneuvering around the jobsite or in and out of storage. A convenient foot-plate, below the recoil, gives you control as you tilt the machine toward you or "park" it in operating position.
"Kickstand" provides Stability and Mobility
Designed for maneuvering around your yard easily, the "kickstand" makes it easy to transition between travel mode and work mode. Just lie it back on its wheels (like a mover's dolly) to travel, then rest it on the kickstand when you're done.
Compact Powerhouse

Good product
I bought this to help clear all the brush and rotten wood on a small plot of abandoned property in Arizona, it does very well. The flaps over the shredder do rather limit its use, I was trying to toss pinecones in there and I had to keep shoving them in with a stick, I'm sure this helps keep big stuff out of there but I found it rather annoying. That is really the only issue I have with the product, which overall does a bit better than I expected.

Generally very good product. It does tend to choke on wet or green leaves.
Does a super job!
The DR Chipper is a quality-built tool for the yard! I have used it a couple of times and am happy with it. Eliminates dealing with the decision about what to do with all of the cut branches. The shredded branches are now being used around the landscaped areas providing extra moisture to my high mountain desert plantings.
Reducer
The 320 is a powerful chipper/shredder that keeps up with a steady input of dry leaves and debris. Once I understood how much I could feed the hopper without clogging it, I was able to move significant volumes of dry trimmings without issues. The only problem I had was when shredding green trimmings the output screen would load up and clog.
Good sturdy machine
This is a well-built, powerful piece of equipment that does most of what is advertised. The chipper will chew through branches up to about 2.5" and feeds itself (pulls the branch in without you having to hold it). A 3" branch will bog down the motor - but to be fair I haven't tried holding on to the branch and feeding it in slowly - maybe that will work. The only thing I was disappointed about was palm fronds - we live on St. Croix, USVI and have lots of palm trees that drop fronds, and I was hoping to be able to shred them instead of taking them to the dump (at 20$ a pick-up load!). Unfortunately, palm fronds are very stringy in nature, and when shredded they make a big ball of stringy fibers that will clog the shredder. But it handles all the other yard waste and trimmings well (and we have a lot on a tropical island!). I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone shopping for a chipper/shredder.
